Distant Memories

And here she is: red old lady Kira.
She still has all the old scars she received while living in Olderdissen and a huge spot on her rear will remain bald forever. Nonetheless she appeared more content than we've seen her in many years. She had no problems with walking right along the fence where many photographers stood, even standing still right in front of us (no more than 20 cm between her, the fence and us), sniffing a bit. Back in Olderdissen she would have been way too shy to get so close to visitors, now it appears like nothing could bother her anymore. Omega for most of her life she's now really the one who lucked out, unlike her sisters who by now are all deceased.
