Colours of Fall

I'd still have some puppy photos from my last zoo visits, but I'm deciding to go for some nostalgia. (and apart from this I am not overly satisfied with this year's puppy shots)

This is an old photo of Ronja, one of my beloved girls from Olderdissen. It was taken two years ago in autumn 2011. Now one year since Laika's death has gone by, ten months since Luna passed away. As far as I know they still live in a threesome - no new home for Kira. I haven't seen them since August, but they were doing good back then. Smilla and Kira were on full display, resting right in front of the forest, probably 5 meters away from a fence-less platform, so everybody could perfectly see them. That's nothing they do very often, especially not Kira.

I really, really miss them, but ahh ... it is incredibly difficult to get up early on a weekend day when you finally have the time to sleep nice and long. Even if it's just a 15-minute drive. I like sleeping. But right after this week I'll have two weeks of autumn holidays. So I'll be DEFINITELY visiting them. And this weekend will be ... sledge dog race, sledge dog race! SLEDGE.DOG.RACE! For those who watch me long enough - you know what that means.
