Legacy

Those who watch me longest might remember that there used to be a pack of six female wolves in the wildlife park of my hometown. They where kinda "my first wolves". With them started what would turn into years of driving around Germany, visiting dozens of zoos and wildlife parks only to observe and photograph wolves for hours. You may also remember that they're all dead by now - except one.
Kira, the forever-omega had been moved to "Biotop Wildpark Anholter Schweiz" in 2014, got a kind mate and since then had two litters. I kinda missed everything about the first one in 2015, but finally decided I had to see Kira with her new family. I'm so happy for her, she has such an awesome life now and she is so much more relaxed and really not so shy anymore.
There'll definitely be more from my trip today, Kira, her mate Cesar, her daughter Coco from last year ... but for now have three of her seven pups of this year's litter!
For my German fellows, if it might interest you, Kira's four other children from last year went to "Alte Fasanerie Klein-Auheim" (2 females) and "Wildpark Johannismühle" (2 males).
