Kasselburg's also keeping two polar wolves since around march 2013. This is the male one and we called him Amaroq, as "Amarok" was standing on a sign infront of the enclosure, describing polar wolves. Amaroq is the name of a gigantic wolf in Inuit mythology.
The two of them are real beauties. I love the soft look of his face and both sport nice black markings on their backs. They're still pretty shy, but we still got them to come a bit closer for the camera. x)

Das Foto ist echt toll! :D Mir gefällt besonders der Kontrast zwischen seinem weißen Fell und dem Grün im Hintergrund. Ich mag auch Amaroqs Blick. Sehr gut getroffen! :] Ich kannte Kasselburg noch gar nicht, aber das klingt nach einem schönen Ausflugsziel.

Kasselburg ist absolut großartig. =) Wenn ich einen Park mit Wölfen empfehlen sollte, dann zuerst den. Liegt nur leider ziemlich weit weg von meinem Heimatort.

Von meinem leider auch! :D Aber wir feiern zufälligerweise Silvester in der Nähe und haben jetzt beschlossen, auf dem Rückweg einen Abstecher dorthin zu machen. Ich bin schon echt gespannt. :aww:

Ohhh der Gute sieht ja genau so aus wie Kenai! fall-of-rain.deviantart.com/ar… der hat auch so einen schwarzen Strich am Rücken :D
